ARTICLE I
Clerk and Tax Collector

~ 22-1. Extension of terms.
The terms of office of the positions of Town Clerk and Town Tax Collector shall be changed and extended from two (2) years to four (4) years commencing with the term following the next biennial election of 1991.
~ 22-2. Effective date.
This chapter shall take effect upon the receipt of the affirmative vote of a majority of qualified electors at the general election to be held on November 6, 1990, and the submission to the office of the Secretary of State of the State of New York.
